The Incredible Value of
All-on-4
Transformations Built to Last
All-on-4 offers a faster, less invasive alternative to traditional full-arch implant methods. By using just four implants per arch, this treatment can restore your smile with greater efficiency and fewer surgical steps.
Fewer Implants, Greater Comfort
Traditional implant dentures often require six to eight posts per arch. All-on-4 achieves the same stability with only four implants, reducing overall surgery time and recovery.
An Option Without Bone Grafting
The two back implants are placed at an angle to maximize contact with your natural bone. This makes All-on-4 a solution for many patients who may not qualify for traditional implants due to bone loss or health concerns.
Immediate Function and Results
While traditional implants can take months to support a denture, All-on-4 allows most patients to leave with a fixed, functional restoration the very same day. You can enjoy a confident smile and improved oral function much sooner.

How Are All-on-4 Dental Implants Different from Traditional Implants?
Other dental implant procedures require six to eight implant posts to secure a full-arch denture. All-on-4 treatment uses just four implants to support a denture on the upper or lower jaw.

The two posterior implant posts are placed at a 45-degree angle to achieve maximum contact with the remaining jawbone tissue. This makes All-on-4 dental implants an option for many patients who do not qualify for traditional implants due to bone atrophy, as well as those who cannot undergo preparatory bone grafting due to age, thyroid issues, osteoporosis, or other factors.
All-on-4 takes just one procedure to complete. While traditional dental implants need four to six months to integrate with the jawbone tissue before they can support a denture, most patients can begin wearing a dental implant-supported denture right after All-on-4 placement. Choosing this dental treatment at our McLean office can put you on a faster track to a fully restored smile than a traditional implant treatment.

Dr. Han's masterful combination of restorative and cosmetic dentistry makes him one of the nation's leading providers of beautiful, functional results with dental implants. Patients travel from throughout the world to receive truly exceptional dental care from Dr. Han.

Candidacy for All-on-4 Implants
Patients interested in the All-on-4 dental solution should keep these considerations in mind:
Degree of Tooth Loss
Candidates for All-on-4 implant treatment require a full-arch restoration to replace each and every tooth on the top dental arch, lower dental arch, or both. If you are missing just one tooth or a few teeth, Dr. Han can consult with you to find a proper restorative dental solution, such as an implant-supported crown or an implant-supported bridge.
Jawbone Atrophy
Because a certain amount of healthy jawbone tissue is necessary for traditional implant treatment, many candidates who have suffered jawbone atrophy may not qualify without preparatory bone grafting surgery. Candidates with low jawbone density who are unwilling or unable to receive bone grafting may still qualify for treatment with All-on-4 dental implants. However, it is important to understand that your All-on-4 implants will require a certain amount of bone density. During your consultation, Dr. Han can determine if you qualify.
Good Overall Health
Certain autoimmune diseases, including uncontrolled diabetes, can raise the risk of dental implant failure. However, patients with controlled diabetes may make good candidates for dental implants, including All-on-4 dental implants. If you smoke or use other tobacco products, you will need to break the habit before you can undergo All-on-4 implant treatment.
The All-on-4 Process
We partner with Horizon Anesthesia to provide the safest sedation services for our patients.
Understanding the Cost of All-on-4 We Accept Insurance & Financing Is Available
Because every patient is different, the final cost of treatment with All-on-4 implants can vary. Factors that can affect cost include whether you received preparatory treatments or sedation. Some dental insurance providers help to cover at least part of the cost of implant-supported dentures, but the implants themselves are not covered by basic insurance. Patients should consult with their provider for plan details. We accept all PPO plans.
Our McLean dentists believe that dental implant treatment should be attainable for all patients. We work with CareCredit, a third-party lender that provides low- or no-interest monthly plans to help you manage payment. Some patients may also qualify for in-house financing—if you make a 50% down payment on your treatment, the other half can be financed interest-free.
Why Is All-on-4 a Great Investment? Consider the Life-Changing Benefits
Many McLean patients choose to receive All-on-4 implants because they provide the same valuable benefits as traditional implants, including:

Improved Appearance and Function
All-on-4 dental implants support a lifelike permanent denture that looks and functions just like natural teeth, so you can have complete confidence in the strength and appearance of your smile at all times of the day.

Retain Jawbone Tissue
Missing just one tooth or multiple teeth will cause the underlying jawbone to deteriorate over time. This can lead to frequently uncomfortable dentures and put you at risk of losing even more teeth. Implants fuse with the jawbone to provide the stimulation needed to stop jawbone atrophy after tooth loss.

A Younger Appearance
Jawbone atrophy can contribute to a sunken facial appearance, which can make you look older than you really are. Dental implants are the only treatment that can stimulate the jawbone and help preserve the natural shape of your face after losing your natural teeth.

A Longer-Lasting Denture
Removable dentures typically last for five to 10 years before they need to be replaced. A permanent denture supported by All-on-4 implants can retain its full function and a beautiful appearance for at least 10 years on average, and the implants themselves can last for several decades.
